• LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design): As one of the world’s most well-known certification systems from the U.S. Green Building Council, durlum played a key role in the first building in Germany to receive LEED "Gold" certification in 2008—the Süddeutscher Verlag Office Complex in Munich, equipped with durlum ceiling and lighting systems.

• BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method): durlum’s metal raft ceiling elements were installed in the One Great Cumberland Place in London, which received the BREEAM "Excellent" certificate for its environmental performance.

• DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council): The Areva Move II building complex in Erlangen, outfitted with durlum’s cooling and heating raft ceilings, achieved the prestigious DGNB "Gold" certification.
