A work and encounter zone in an optimum central location: the Baloise Park in Basel, also known as the 'Gate to the City', comprises four building units surrounded by a generous area of parkland. The Baloise Park West high-rise, 90 metres in height, is the tallest building in the park. The top seven of its 24 floors will be used as office premises. Three of them by Ernst & Young.
Based on the Activity-Based Working concept, this international company created a working environment that is characterised by a flexible interior layout. The creative ceiling solutions from durlum contribute to this innovative office concept. Equipped with acoustic fleece and cooling meanders, these systems improve the acoustics and climate of these interior spaces.
The raft ceilings are very eye-catching features of the office and leisure areas. Produced as triangular and trapezoidal panels, they combine to form hexagonal shapes that are powdercoated in three different RAL colours. The raft ceilings in the offices were installed to form several large raft ceiling units that accentuate the work areas very effectively. Powder-coated in anthracite, the POLYLAM dur-COOLTEC vertical baffle system creates a pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria area. Integrated LED downlights deliver an appropriate lighting mood. An ingeniously composed concept that emphasises the flexible configuration of this workplace environment in a highly innovative manner.
