An impressive financial district in the heart of the capital of Malaysia: the newly built and visually striking skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur rises to 26 floors – part of which is home to Menara Prudential. Situated in a first-class location, the new head office of this insurance company was inaugurated in June.
A fascinating ceiling solution from durlum is used in the entrance area.
Two ceilings combined as a single unit, matched with harmony and precision. The DOMUS curved ceiling extends in an undulating manner into the room and its final quarter merges seamlessly and with apparent ease into an expanded metal ceiling.
Open sections that suggest leaves serve as a visual linking element between the ceilings laser-carved out of the curved ceiling, these cutouts are then welded onto the expanded metal ceiling and are also fitted to the adjacent wall. This creates a stylish, filigree ceiling pattern that imbues these premises with an open and seemingly boundless character.
Furthermore, the white acoustic fabric backing satisfies the acoustic requirements of a reception area while at the same time create a harmonious unit with the ceiling elements, also powder-coated in white.
