Mobile and environment-friendly – the Rheinbahn is committed to those principles, as a local transport provider in the Düsseldorf area. Every day, this rail company transports up to 740,000 people in its buses and trains. Last summer, it opened a new head office building. Built in the shape of an H, as in 'Haltestelle', the German word for a bus stop, the new building's interior design also reflects the corporate brand. Aesthetic ceiling lighting combinations from durlum blend in perfectly to the grey-red colour scheme of Rheinbahn AG.
Anyone stepping into this head office building will encounter the translucent lighting panels perfectly recessed into the metal ceiling and that were specifically designed for this project. Comprising various different sizes, these rectangular metal panels embody a distinctive design. In the conference rooms, an equally stylish and intelligent ceiling lighting combination is encountered once again: Recessed into a visually appealing metal ceiling, linear lighting and spot-style ambient lighting create just the right kind of light for meetings.
Generously proportioned, trapezoid-shaped LUMEO® illuminated surfaces deliver pleasant and inviting light to the canteen. Mounted on the angled roof structure, they blend seamlessly into the light-endowed overall concept. Individual accents are set in the corridors of this head office building. The eccentric circular shape of the LUMEO®-X luminaire is skilfully eye-catching.
