The picturesque medieval town of Murten in the Swiss canton of Fribourg enjoys an idyllic location on the shores of Lake Murten and, with the new COOP shopping mall in Löwenberg, a district of Murten, it now offers a modern retail experience. Arranged across 5600 square metres of retail floorspace, alongside food there is a large DIY and hobby range, a pharmacy, a restaurant and a fitness centre.
For this new building, durlum supplied appropriate ceiling lighting solutions. On the ground floor, the LOOP Type 2 design ceiling with its elegant, deep drawn round openings and its perfectly integrated PUNTEO-J luminaires welcome visitors while the POLYLAM vertical baffle ceiling creates a visual highlight by complementing the curving shape of the building layout. The integrated narrow OMEGA 40 luminaires provide optimum illumination.
